All that anticipation disappeared once I entered the members' area, though. There were only text links to the various sections of the site, so I can't say I was impressed by its design. It definitely didn't make me feel welcome. The links are basically organized in two columns. One references the latest video and image gallery updates, and the other links to the several content section and extras.
I skipped on to the Exclusive Movies, and again felt disappointed - more by the design and presentation than by the content itself. This section includes 16 scenes, each with between 15 and 45 minutes split into 5-minute clips. It's not a whole lot of exclusive content, but it's still almost 8 hours of strap-on hardcore action to keep you busy! The problem is that there still are no previews at all, only text links! While some of the titles at least give you a clue to what's going on, like "Mistress & Her Farm Boys" and "Dana & Nick", others leave you no choice but to click the link and watch a clip of "Caught Wearing Her Panties" or "The Roommate" to even find out if they're girl-on-boy or girl-on-girl scenes.
The FemDom Movies section is a little better, but not by much. It's mostly comprised of twenty-something strap-on scenes taken from 8 DVDs, and you're given a low-resolution peek at the cover of the DVD. Finding out what is in each scene, though, still has to be done the hard way.
Movies are available as .wmv files, downloadable or streaming at 312 Kbps (320x240) or at 40 Kbps (160x120). I wasn't particularly moved by the image quality. They were crisp and clear enough, and the girls were great looking, with a special gleam on their eyes each time they sunk their hard strap-ons into their men's asses, but the productions seem amateurish. The lighting and camera work could definitely be improved.
There are also three photo gallery categories: Strapon FemDom, with 161 sets; Strapon Lesbians, with 202 sets; and Strapon Solo Girls, with 96 sets. Each of these can have between 20 and 120 photos, 1024x683 .jpegs that can only be downloaded one by one. These generally have much higher production values than the movies, and are definitely professional. You'll recognize many pornstar names. Oh, and the galleries are thumbnailed, thank God!
Additional strap-on content includes over 350 assorted clips in various formats that I refuse to comment on - 5-second clips have no place in the members' area of a paysite - over 100 assorted short stories, and a link to an online store.
Bonus content includes almost 300 live-feed sources with thousands of leased videos in as many different categories and formats as you can think of, links to over 50 live video chat show sites, a VOD store, over 70 image gallery feeds, games, etc.
Final Verdict
I can't deny being disappointed by what Strapon.com has to offer. The photo galleries are superb and incredibly sexy, and the exclusive videos, once you find what you're looking for, aren't too bad. Unfortunately, the most overwhelming amount of video content is non-exclusive 3rd-party feeds in categories that have nothing to do with strap-on action. For 30 bucks a month and given all the tour promises, I was expecting a lot better.
